Crafty time!

So I got done with the my latest craft project tonight! I can't wait to put it on the wall tomorrow!Tah Dah! We put it on the wall! :]]

Give Me Something Good to Eat!

Tah Dah!!! Finally after almost 3 weeks, I finished my halloween sign to hang on our front door!

I thought..

that it would be a good idea to not let the apples on our 3 apple trees go bad... So for the first time I tried to can/bottle. When I started this morning, I immediately thought what was I thinking! Talk about a lot of work! When my mom and sisters would get together and do this, I would usually just sit on the sidelines and chat. I should have known that doing this by myself would be quite the task, but I have the time and the apples.. so again why waste right? So I did one bag full of apples and it made 7 pint size jars. And I must say, I am quite proud. After I got the apples peeled it wasn't so bad. I guess the real test as to how it turned out will be how it tastes when we eat it eventually. It was a good experience and I'm not scared to do it again. Which I suppose is a good thing since I still have another bag to get done tomorrow! :] Luckily, Landon will be able to help tomorrow though. Thanks Mom for being on call to answer any questions I had!
